Engage In Two Different Ways
In this Discipleship Academy we have a combination of Seminar Courses and Experiences.
You can find both Seminar Courses and Experiences under the Core and Elective Credit options below.
Seminar Courses: these courses are where the bulk of learning new information about different aspects of our faith will happen. We strive to make our seminar courses as engaging as possible so that the learning is fun and not like "school."
Experiences: these are different opportunties to engage in our faith community and in the larger church. Some of these experiences take place over the course of weeks or weekends at locations far away, while others happen in our local setting.

the whole thing! In addition to that, watch theBible Project Video on your chosen book.
At the completion of watching the video and then reading through the book, schedule a 1 on 1 meeting
with Pastor Tim or Kai to talk about what you learned and read about!

* There are financial costs for these elective credits. At St. Philip we have commited to making sure that finances are not the reason that a youth can not attend a potentially life changing experience, and because of that, we have scholarship funds available for any who need it.
